The Difference Between Activity and Progress

Activity looks impressive. Progress feels quiet.

Meetings, posts, campaigns, tools — all activity. None of it guarantees movement.

Progress is measured by alignment. Are actions connected to outcomes? Does effort compound? Does today make tomorrow easier?

When systems are missing, activity increases to compensate. When systems exist, progress accelerates with less effort.

Busy isn’t the goal. Direction is.
